“Has a stutter. Tried to introduce himself in the gang and accidentally said Kyle and it's been going on far too long to correct people at this point. Kinda incompetent in Gang business, but he's a charismatic, if simple, guy when he's not introducing himself by the wrong name. Has a love for fishing. He's called the Jumpman bc he invented the trampoline; the trampoline has not caught on and the other gangsters make fun of him bc they think the trampoline was a waste of time. Appreciates the smaller things in life, but smart enough to invent a trampoline. Does white-collar crimes.”
Tyler Killian was once an innocuous criminal with extreme nerves, a stutter, and a generational streak of nonstop bad luck. Whether it was introducing himself accidentally by the wrong name to his comrades and never having the nerve to correct his mistake, or being charged with chimp-sitting the infamous Congo, 'Kyle the Jumpman' - named because of his invention of the first trampoline - always seemed to get the short end of the stick in every situation. However, when he was turned into a Vampyr by Etienne Du Sang during The November Crisis, everything changed. Though he was kidnapped by The Butcher and held in the custody of the Gardeners for several weeks after the Day of Vermin, he eventually escaped during the Flooding of Old Stormloch and went completely rogue, surviving on the blood of strangers for weeks more as he wandered ferally between cities on his quest to return to some semblance of peace. He was pursued at every turn by the Butchers' Union, a stripe of the Gardeners in charge of keeping tabs on rogue Vampyrs sired by Du Sang and his subordinates. Many a human element within the Union underestimated Kyle whenever they could manage to corner him, and paid the price dearly for it. A combination of constant rage, hunger, and abject terror gave Kyle a sort of unfettered primal viciousness that isn't commonly seen in the criminal world, even amongst his fellow Vampyrs.
During the Envoys' Gawnhurst Expedition, Kyle met up with the group and was able to be calmed down somewhat, despite his rage towards the group for Slim Eddy's part in keeping Congo around him in the Crownsfort days.
When the Envoys returned to The Crownsfort, Kyle was one of many who joined them. Some time after the arrival of the Kingsgard, the Envoys met up with Congo, who had been running amok in the abandoned city since the evacuation. Upon Kyle's realization that Congo was now present in the party, he was far less than pleased, prompting Gabriel Venks to mediate a duel between the two. Kyle proved his ferocity in the duel, though it's more or less subjective who won.
