Dramps - once known as “Gramps” - is a storied gangster who began his activities in The Crownsfort decades before the start of the Incursion War. His intricate web of white-collar economic crimes earned him unparalleled notoriety, leading to the catastrophic economic bubble in Eisenstadt and the forming of multiple illicit smuggling operations all over Torre. Evading all manner of capture by the Crownsfort's government, he gained the moniker “The Taxman” as he continuously siphoned funds away from all manner of groups in the region. The ultimate irony of this prolific scheme was that Gramps was far from aware of what he was doing at any given time. His mind was addled by a magical malaise that would plague him until AH 232, when Rayno Trifonov solved his mystical riddle and freed him from the curse.

Less than a decade after the end of the Incursion War, Gramps was attacked by Bear Cavendish in a tavern bathroom in Diron, successfully turning him into a Vampyr. Cavendish was then killed by BabyFist, but not before a dastardly hex was placed on Gramps that prevented him from ever fully understanding the nature of his transformation, and warped his cognitive abilities beyond human reasoning.
