However, the head of Sterling’s corpse begins to bloat, sprouting some sort of slowly growing cocoon-like protrusion. The High Court evacuates the building as the party calls on Gung Floe to transport the body as far away from the city as possible. However, the head of Sterling’s corpse begins to bloat, sprouting some sort of slowly growing cocoon-like protrusion.  Percy comes with, attempting to keep the cocoon from hatching as long as he can. It isn’t long, however, before a tear forms in the membrane and a colossal, skeletal arm springs out. A creature begins to emerge from the cocoon, resembling a colossal dragon made from sinew, bone, and shadow. When the creature takes flight and begins to summon legions of flying vermin from its wings to scour the city, a sudden full evacuation of the Crownsfort begins. Percy comes with, attempting to keep the cocoon from hatching as long as he can.  As the Envoys prepare to leave the vaults, a second party enters, led by Einhorn. Grila’s presence is felt too, though she is not seen. Einhorn commands a large Underworld creature known as a Darkbastion, which begins summoning other Underworld entities at an alarming rate. The party is forced to fight, and kills Einhorn along with the entities at his disposal. Gabe swallows Einhorn’s soul, and the group takes Einhorn’s gatling gun. As the Envoys prepare to leave the vaults, a second party enters, led by Einhorn.  +Eddy begins scouting out the location of the meeting as arranged with the Martradir and Casters’ Guild.
 +
+Rayno and Thin Man raid Mr. Sterling’s old workshop and discover the unfinished sequel to the Livre Insecta, which Rayno snatches from its trap-infested housing.
 +
+Gabe, Mercer, and Johann head down into the catacombs to discreetly teleport out to wake Oskol. However, they are followed by Kingsgard agents - helmed by the Major, Rigel - and Johann sends all of them out into the ocean. Despite Rigel and her squad’s best efforts, Grila’s spell circle is activated and Mercer teleports himself, Gabe, and Johann back to the Crownsfort.
 +
+After this all has resolved, the party reconvenes and rounds up all of their closest allies - numbering in the dozens - and departs in secret from the high plaza.
 +
 +### The Conference
 +
+The party brings all of their close allies from House Lindigast to a ground-level cathedral near the continuing conflict between the cultists and the treants. Inside, they find the Martradir with two chieftains, Fenrak and Meevo. A deal is struck as more allies arrive, including the Casters’ Guild, Syd Vulcan, Kestrel & Volka, and more. The wyrm has awakened, and all in attendance will see to it that this opportunity to kill GIRA will not be wasted.
 +
 +### Re-Location
 +
+Gabe establishes a secondary, more fortified bastion - A large ground-level industrial warehouse - with the treants. The coalition then re-locates here.
 +
 +### The Wurm Arrives
+The storm over the Crown Commonwealth grows as the coalition sets about reinforcing the warehouse to withstand the winds and flying debris. This is no ordinary thunderstorm, made apparent as the building begins to flood and the very walls of the structure begin to warp under the incessant torrents of rain. The thunder and clattering of hail on the metal roof of the structure is almost loud enough to disguise a sudden wave of tremors - the vibrations of a distant carving of earth that seems to be growing closer. [[oeskol_the_witherwurm|The Wurm]] is coming.
 +
+Not long after the start of the tremors, the storm becomes deafening. Nothing can be heard anymore, until the coalition's collective eardrums are ruptured by an impossibly thunderous crack. A massive lightning bolt silhouettes a city-sized, laughing serpent as it strangles the mountain and transforms it into a new shape - a raised crater made of thousands of obliterated structures. The force of the blast is so powerful and so shattering that it incapacitates the storm's survivors, leaving the sheet-metal structure of the warehouse collapsed and warped around itself, coccooning what remains of the Coalition in a geometric, hail-scarred coffin.

+### 2-11. Wake of the Storm
 +
+The party awaken in the twisted ruins of the warehouse, and emerge to find that the Crownsfort’s mountain core has been turned into a caldera. Journeying up the mountainside, it becomes apparent that the top third of the city - including Apple St and the pizzeria - have been completely obliterated.
 +
+The party meets up with Cruelstump and a few other Treants that survived the storm, who escort the group to the edge of the canyon and down to the bottom. A tiny speck of lead wall can be seen at the lowest point of the crater - the outer edge of the Divine Labyrinth. The party sets to work punching a hole in the wall to enter through.

+Mercer speaks to Eckler, who gives him a grave warning that the Underworld knows the party is coming.

 +### 2-12. Awaken
+The party awakens and plans their travel to Serra, the moon of Facet. Dramps is revealed. Reports reveal the presence of the cultist intruders and the party braces for a large-scale battle in the statue garden.
 +### Battle in the Garden
+The cultists arrive in the puzzle chamber above the garden. The party destroys the Oracles’ reconnaissance spirits and launches a preemptive strike through the floor, scattering the cultists. Gabe, Rayno and Eddy dash in to seize this opportunity, and Mercer sends Wiz Kid up with an explosive crafted by Ursala. The bomb detonates, killing dozens of cultists within the room and destroying the puzzle. Wiz Kid does not survive.
